Amazing. I find it touching that some many people took the time to reply to my silly game. I haven't had a chance to look at all of them - I wanted to say thanks first. It brightens my day.
I've updated this: I wanted to put Mokey2rocks's post on the "top page".

Our pleasure Dr. Hendler.
I must admit I have enjoyed looking through all of our entries as well.
As I have mentioned this has certainly opened up a whole new world of wonder for me.
My uncle is an astronomer and when I was a child he gave me the thesis he wrote for his Phd.
It has remained in the loft for many years yet all this talk of astronomy has had me look it out.
Fascinating whether I truly understand it or not.
I've always been interested in astronomy. In elementary school I even did a show and tell about the solar system. Sadly enough it didn't fit in my backpack, so I had to draw it on the chalkboard. Pretty awesome in my opinion, but I don't know if my fellow classmates thought so too.
Went to an observatory once. My parents took me for my birthday. Saw the craters on the moon, Saturn's rings, the works. Again, pretty awesome. They even talked about the big bang and all.
I must admit, after years of being interested in astronomy, I never thought the sun gives us more than light and heat.
I think we should be thanking you Dr. Hendler. Without you i never woulda known about the 11 year cycle and coronal holes which are pretty jaw dropping. anyway thank you Dr.Hendler for teaching us something new.
I am greatly pleased that I've opened up a few young minds to something new. I think that's the educator's purpose. While this blog is more about my hobbies and my thoughts, hobbies and thoughts have a way of affecting us, of changing our point of view. I'm glad it's having that effect on you.
